Even at the young age of 27, J RAUD (Jeff Raudebaugh) has been playing and writing music for years. His first album was released and sold to his high school classmates in Michigan. Since then he has recorded a number of albums and sold them to the public, online and at his energetic live shows.
J RAUD writes happy songs, sad songs, and humorous songs. Influenced by rock and roll from the past and modern music alike, his sound has cross-generation appeal. He plays in styles as varied as folk, rock, punk, and electronica. His recent musical release, Naked as a Jay Bird, features “Song’”, which can be heard in the independent film At Home by Myself…With You.
J RAUD currently resides in Alexandria, VA, across the river from Washington, DC. Along with writing music, he enjoys drawing, reading, hiking, and traveling. His band J RAUD & THE FIRING SQUAD is currently hard at work playing shows and recording a new album titled “Dance of Words”, due for release in late fall 2010.
